Hi folks:
This is the 3,8mm view. Lightning - dominates the recording but when i browsed the images i found that there are at least six incidents of sprite. A full form carrot was seen there as well. I have to take in the unprotected adhoc ccd/lens setup around 5am when strong wind and showered occurred.

This is my 2nd recording of sprite from S'pore so far.

Hi Sonotaco:
Thnx.. i was about to auto delete all the 'lighning' flashes - so the lesson learn is better check the frame before hitting the delete key- you never now wat got recorded in between..
The images of the sprites were small at this large FOV scale.. next time will use additional longer focus lens. .
Cheers!

Just something I notice, the carrot appears grey of one brightness, which suggests you are not using the optimal setting for contrast or brightness in the video device settings tab, in other words what is recorded as white by the camera is grey after capture. It would be good to check this.

In the first screen of UFOCapture where you select the video source, there is the button "set" which leads you to the settings of the video capture device. It depends on the device if it allows you control over contrast and brightness.
